Chelsea ‘ll trigger Giroud contract extension, says Sarri

The Blues striker has been linked heavily with a move back to his home country, but his manager denies that he will leave.
Maurizio Sarri says Chelsea will activate a clause to extend Olivier Giroud’s contract for another year to keep the France international at the club next season.
Giroud has spoken about his discontent over a lack of game time, and he has been linked with a move back to Ligue 1 to both Lyon and Marseille.
However, Sarri was pretty clear that he will keep the 31-year-old for another year, as his impressive run of six goals in five starts for club and country sees him making an impact at the end of the season.

PSG eye Ajax star Daley Blind

Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Ajax defender Daley Blind, according to Le Parisien.
The French side want to sign some experienced players to strengthen their squad ahead of next season and see the 29-year-old as an ideal option.
Blind returned to Ajax last summer and has played a key role for the Dutch side alongside Matthijs de Ligt, who is also wanted by PSG.

Real Madrid eager to seal Pogba deal after Hazard

Real Madrid are ready to begin their campaign to sign Paul Pogba after wrapping up an agreement with Chelsea star Eden Hazard, Marca says.
The Spanish giants have reportedly reached an agreement with Hazard over a summer transfer and now are aiming to finalise another big move.
Madrid will go all out to acquire the World Cup winner but Manchester United are determined to hold on to him and will demand over £100 million ($130m) for him.

Roma want €20m for West Ham target Dzeko

Roma are ready to let Edin Dzeko leave at the end of the season, but they are demanding €20 million (£22m) for him.
West Ham are leading the race to land the Bosnia international but Serie A side Inter are also showing an interest.
Sky Sport in Italy claims Roma will consider offers for him, but want twice as much as West Ham are willing to offer, though they may be willing to lower their demands.

Dortmund & Atletico target Hazard set for summer switch

Thorgan Hazard looks set to leave Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the season, Rheinische Post reports.
The Belgian’s contract expires in 2020 and the Bundesliga club will look to sell him this year if he does not extend his contract.
Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are among those chasing the winger, who has scored nine goals this season.

Everton eye Pope as Pickford replacement

Everton are considering a move for Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, The Sun claims.
The Toffees are said to be losing faith in Jordan Pickford because of his performances and recent off-field incidents.
They are considering letting the shot stopper leave this summer if they get a £50 million ($65m) bid and will turn their attention to new signings and eye £10m ($13m) Pope.

Manchester United identify transfer priority in the summer

Securing the futures of Paul Pogba and David De Gea is the No.1 for priority for Manchester United in the upcoming off-season.
Pogba and De Gea have both been linked with moves to Real Madrid, but the Mirror claims the Red Devils have told potential suitors that neither player is for sale.
The French World Cup winner’s contract doesn’t expire until 2021 with United having the option to extend by another year if they wish, while De Gea is a more pressing issue with his deal running out at the end of next season.

Real close on £210m Hazard transfer

Real Madrid are ready to break the bank on Eden Hazard as they close in on a transfer deal worth a whopping £210 million ($274m), claims the Sun.
Chelsea have refused to budge on their asking price of £100m for the Belgian, who has made no secret of his desire to play one day for the Blancos.
And after agreeing to the eight-figure sum, Madrid would additionally pay Hazard £110m over six years in a bumper contract deal.

Man United line up Pickford as De Gea heir

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is Manchester United’s first choice between the posts should David de Gea leave Old Trafford, reports the Mirror.
Rumours linking to Real Madrid have reignited since the return of Zinedine Zidane, who seems to have little faith in last summer’s signing Thibaut Courtois.
And if Madrid finally succeed in their quest to sign De Gea, Pickford and Atletico Madrid star Jan Oblak head United’s shortlist for a quality replacement.
