The Nigeria Basketball Federation will focus more on age grade competitions this year according to Vice President Babs Ogunade.
In a chat, Ogunade stated the NBBF’s expectations to commit more resources to the grassroots.
“The age grade national championship, that we didn’t do a whole lot last year because we didn’t have a lot of money, and I’m not saying we are awash with money now.
“But the glamorous ones are the senior ones which actually brings more attention and the government is always willing to support that; more than the grassroots, so we have a lot to do this year.”
