Senegal international Sadio Mane is among six nominees for the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Year award.
Mane, 27, has enjoyed a superb season with Liverpool as they continue their pursuit of a first league title in close to three decades.
The Reds forward has scored 18 goals in 32 English Premier League games this season, while also chipping in with two assists.
Mane is nominated alongside Manchester City trio Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and forward Sergio Aguero. Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Chelsea forward Eden Hazard complete a star studded list of nominees.
The former Southampton wide man has scored a total of 55 goals in 116 appearances for Liverpool, since joining the club three years ago.
