New Minimum Wage: C&S Leader cautions against hike in price of  commodities

The leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church worldwide, Most Reverend Samuel Abidoye has joined well meaning Nigerians to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the implementation of N30,000 minumum wage for public servants in the country.
He, however, expressed concern over possible inflation of price of commodities by traders as a result of the development.
Hence, the spiritual father, appealed to “market men and women  not to take the advantage of this increase in workers’ wage to increase the prices of commodities in the market, Otherwise, we shall be back to square one.”
Addressing a press conference to herald the 50th anniversary of the ascension of Mount Horeb, at the Church’s City of Galilee in Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, on Thursday, he  called for the implementation of the new minimum wage by all state government.
On the state of the nation, Abidoye decried the spate of insecurity in the country, calling for intercessory prayer for Nigeria in order for peace to reign.
However, he appealed to all servants not to allow the “flesh or what they will eat to deceive them into giving false revelations.”
He reminded them that they are set aside by God for noble purpose and assignment, urging men of God to remain focused on their ministry of soul winning.
Abidoye advised parents take care of their homes and to teach the youths good virtues of life,  pointing out that they are the future  leaders.
He maintained that they should not allow the run for wealth prevent them from their responsibility as parents, noting that everyone of them will account before God.
Meanwhile, the celebration of ascension of Mount Horeb for this year, which began on Sunday  has its theme, “Conquering faith”.
The golden jubilee of the programme, which will be held at the City of Galilee, Orile Igbon will also feature spiritual ordination of the third conference supervising Prophet of the Church, in person of Special Apostle Prophet Zacheaus Abioye Emmanuel.
Other activities for the event include  prayers, novelty match, crusades, award presentation as well as praises unto God, among others.
