NEMA’s Chief Planning Officer, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad, made the disclosure in a chat with newsmen in llorin, on Wednesday.
Muhammad said that the agency’s team arrived Ilorin from Abuja three weeks ago.
The agency’s official said that only three local government areas of Moro, Edu and Patigi were affected by flood, which damaged several hectares of farmland in the state.

The Chief Planning Officer said that President Muhammadu Buhari embarked on this gesture in 18 states ravaged by flood in 2018 to boost farming, and to guarantee food sufficiency.
He warned farmers in the three affected local government areas against hoarding or selling of the farm inputs.
The Special Adviser to Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmad on Emergency and Relief Services, Alhaji AbdulRasaq Akanbi, said that the agency was giving necessary support to NEMA for proper enumeration and identification of genuine farmers effected.
