United drops another points against Rivers Utd

Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin yesterday hedge Rivers United of Portharcourt to a goalless draw at the ongoing abridged league match week 19.
The match which was played at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin saw the home team dominated most proceedings but had little to show for it.
The homers showed early intent in the first half of the game as there was a penalty from the host as the visitors defender handes the ball in the box but not given.
The harmony boys struggling to keep possession of the ball all through the first half of the match, but the resilience of visitor thwarted all their efforts.
The inclusion of Ebenezer Odeyemi and Tijani Adamu in the second seem to add more hope to the host as more scoring chances were created all to no avail.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the match, Kwara United coach, Bala Abubakar describes the match as disappointing.
“Very disappointing one because we have lost another two point at home.
“We never expected it. We will need to work hard, if we can pick point at Gombe it will be okay for us. We will continue to fight untill the end,” Bala said.
