Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin will today (Thursday) continue it’s fight against relegation as they face Wikki Tourists in the match day 20 of the ongoing abridged league.
United in the recent time has struggled to win matches.
The Bala Abubakar boys failed again to ignite their hope and tendency of surviving relegation after a goalless draw against Rivers United at home on Sunday.

“I think hope is not lost. We are going to Bauchi next, and am sure we will come home with three points.
“The battle is on, we will continue to fight till the end”, Bala assured.
However, Wikki tourists in their last 5 match have not had it porous and bad like their erstwhile opponents.
Wikki shared a spoil with Enyimba at home, played 1-1 draw with MFM, won 1-0 over Kastina United and lost to Niger Tornadoes by 2-0.
Wikki tourists gaffer, however has assured that his side will pick three point against Kwara United when the duo face each other today.
“We are expecting another tough game but we are up to the task and we will like to secure another home win after the defeat to Bendel Insurance which was due to a lot of factors. We have put that loss behind us and are working towards getting the maximum points against Kwara Utd.
“I am happy to tell you that we do not have any injury, worry and we are looking forward to Thursday with our sights on securing the three points.”
