Seek direction from God, state govs charged
A Cleric, Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel,
Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, Kwara State has implored new administrations
across the states to seek direction from God.
In his sermon at the church yesterday, he also called on people to
support them in prayer to enable them succeed in their new assignment.
However, a Cleric, Bishop Yemi Oyeyemi has called on Christians to
always praise God and worship Him wholeheartedly.
Bishop Oyeyemi made the call on Sunday in his sermon delivered at the
30th thanksgiving of his ministry held at Holy Ghost Embassy Church,
Oko-Erin, Ilorin.
The Cleric who spoke on the topic “Magnifying God”, stressed the need
for Christians to always show appreciation in all circumstances.
He thanked God for His mercy and benevolence over his Ministry and callings.
Bishop Oyeyemi charged Christians to always be prayerful and move closer to God.
Also speaking on the Topic “How to use the glory of God in one’s life”
at the 51st anniversary of Fogo Band of the Cherubim and Seraphim
Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters, Prophet Akin Awoye
called on Christians to be active in the Church and the ministry of
Jesus Christ.
Prophet Awoye identified ways God’s glory could manifest in one’s life
which include divine arrangement, impactation, hard work, diligence
and patience.
Also in his message titled “Be a faithful person” at the United
Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin, Pastor Taiye
Aransiola explained that one key attribute of God is faithfulness and
that whatever He promises, He delivers.
Pastor Aransiola emphasised the need for people to keep their word, to
be reliable, dependable and steadfast not behaving like a chameleon
changing to suit prevailing circumstances.
He charged Christians to be faithful in walking with God, and keeping His words.
Speaking at this year’s annual revival with the theme “My Glory has
come”, Prophetess Cecilia Ibrahim of Olorun isadi C & S Church,
Gaa-Imam, Ilorin urged Christians to desist from sin.
According to Prophetesses lbrahim, sin is the only obstruction
between God and man, hence the need for the people to turn a new leaf
in Christ.
Also, Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of of C A C Faith Chapel along
Asa Dam road, Ilorin, in his message entitled “Power as of the old”
to usher in seven days mid year revival programme, appealed to
Nigerians to look unto God as He is able to do all things.
Prophet Williams observed that God is the Alpha and Omega hence the
need for the people to put their trust in Him.
