Bolaji Abdullahi urged forsustained Ramadan discipline, lessons

The former minister of Youth and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has felicitated with Muslims in Kwara and across Nigeria on the successful completion of Ramadan and the  occasion of this year’s Eid el Fitr celebration.
Mallam Abdullahi, in his sallah message, urged Muslim faithfuls to sustain the lessons and discipline of the holy month, and to use this period to pray for peace in our dear state, Kwara, and in Nigeria as a whole.
“Alhamdulilah that we have all witnessed the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan fast which today culminates in the Eid-el-fitr celebrations. The month of Ramadan is a special month in which Almighty Allah accepts supplications and grants requests. I’m therefore optimistic that Allah (SWT) has accepted all our prayers for ourselves, our loved ones, our dear state and country.
“The celebration which marks the end of Ramadan itself is an opportunity to come together in unity and love, and to use our collective faith to drive the unity and progress of our dear state of harmony,” Abdullahi said.
Abdullahi called on Kwarans to put the events surrounding the elections behind them and to collectively pray for the success of the new government in the State.
“Eid-el-fitr again reminds us of our oneness as brothers and sisters, despite differences in political preferences and choices. It is a season that demands from us absolute love for all and hatred towards none,” he said.
The former minister also Congratulates His Eminence, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. (Alh.) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari; all other royal fathers across the state, religious and political leaders; as well as the entire Kwara Muslims on the occasion of 2019 Eid-el-fitri celebration.
