KWSG to partner entertainment industry on promoting moral values

Kwara State Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has vowed to revive the dying moral value in the society, especially among the young generation.
The governor disclosed this through his deputy, Chief Kayode Alabi at the weekend during the premiere of a film produced by one of the Kwara talents in the movie industry, Olaide Olabanji.
The Governor said, one of the cardinal agenda of his government is resuscitation of dying culture and reorientation of the youth on the reason they should add value to the society through economic ventures instead of trying to rick quick without hard work.
He, however, appealed to the film makers to produce movies that teach morals for a better society, assuring of government collaboration with Olaide Olabanji and others in the entertainment industry.
Earlier in his welcome address, chief host of the event, former state Commission for Information, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin applauded Abdulrazaq for finding it worthy to create avenue for talents promotion in his agenda and showing it with the presence of his deputy at the launching of “Ojo Atisun” a film produced by one of the talents that is making the state proud in movie industry.
Adedoyin appreciated Governor AbdulRahman for not making his deputy redundant as was the practice in the past, and said it is an evidence of effective and the all-inclusive government he promised.
In his remarks, one of the major actors in the movie industry, Prince Jide Kosoko, acknowledged the creativity and untiring efforts of Olaide and appealed to the government to invest more in entertainment industry.
