Kinsmen offer special prayer for Saraki

Kinsmen of the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki under the aegis of Agbaji Development Association (ADA) on Saturday organised special prayers for him.
They appreciated God for the successful tenure of the ex- senate president and the achievements recorded while in office.
The prayer was led by the Imam Agba of Agbaji, Alhaji Aminulahi Tantolorun and Imam of Maraba, Imam Mustapha Oloka.
In his remarks, President of ADA, Alhaji Lanre Yusuf, commended Saraki for his numerous contributions to national development.
He saluted the former Kwara State governor for being a good ambassador of Agbaji and Kwara State in general and impacting positively on the political landscape of the country.
Yusuf acknowledged the numerous projects, programmes and policies initiated or facilitated by Saraki, which contributed to the socio-economic development of Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State.
In his remarks, Oloka who noted that Saraki is the first Muslim and Yoruba to be Senate President, prayed that God should further elevate him.
Meanwhile, the association commissioned a bill board in honour of the ex-senate president and his late father (Kwara political icon), Dr Olusola Saraki.
