The Board of the Kwara state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)
has approved the organisation of U-12 football competition among eight
selected Junior Secondary Schools in the state.
In a letter of approval, signed by Mrs. O.A. Olarewaju on behalf of
the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, the eight Schools that will
participate in the grassroots football tournament were also listed.
They are ECWA LGEA school, Shao, Moro LGS, Temidire Leader Nursery and
Primarily School, also from Moro LGA, United LGEA School, Ilorin South
and Iponrin LGEA School, Ilorin East.
Others are Sapati LGEA Primary school, ASA LGA, Amayo LGEA School,
Ifelodun and Anifowoshe LGEA Primary School, Ilorin West.
The competition, tagged 1st Kwara state Topstar U-12 Football
competition will be sponsored by Topstar Publishing company based in
Ilorin.
