Unilorin student, Jaji, emerges NAKSS President 

 

A Student of University of Ilorin, Comrade Adisa Jaji has emerged as the President-elect of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS).
The election which had suffered several postponements was eventually held at the Nigeria Labour Congress hall, Ilorin at the weekend amidst heavy security.
After the election that lasted almost five hours, Jaji was unanimously announced as the winner as other presidential aspirants stepped down in support of his aspiration.
Also elected are; Jegede Azeez (Director General), Adewole Ruth (Financial Secretary), Jamiu Shakirudeen (Senate President), Zakariyau Adekunle (Chief Justice), AbdulGaniyu Muhammed (PRO) and Salaudeen Abdulkareem (Welfare).
Others include; Oyerinde Victor (Vice President), Abubakar Nasirudeen (Deputy Senate President), Aminu Omokolade (Registrar), Zubair Sodiq (Clerk) and Issa Zakariyau (Chief Whip).
