The Guaranty Trust Bank, Unity Branch, Ilorin, Kwara State recorded low turnout of customers who were at the bank for various transactions on Wednesday.
It was observed that only few customers were on queue to carry out their transactions inside the banking hall at about 12:26pm.
In a chat with our reporter, a staff of the bank explained that the development is as a result of the online transaction, which many customers have embraced.
According to him, the cashless policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria is gradually taking over the traditional ways of banking.
