There was rowdiness at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Unity branch following shouting match between a customer and two security personnel on Wednesday.
The bone of contention was the phone calls that the customer was making in the banking hall.
One of the securitymen had approached the customer, who was on queue to deposit cash, to remind him that making and receiving phone calls in the banking hall is prohibited.
But, the customer remained unyielding as he continued with his calls, this made the security personnel to ask him to go out of the banking hall to make his calls.
This infuriated the man who started assaulting the security personnel. This attracted his colleague and they made to walk the customer out, but the situation was saved by other bank staff, who wade into the matter.
