Exclusive: KWSG commences screening for SUBEB sunset workers, tomorrow

The Kwara State Government will on Tuesday (tomorrow) commence screening of Kwara workers employed at the twilight of last administration of former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
According to the schedule which was sighted by this reporter last night, the exercise in Ilorin West will hold for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively while Ilorin South with have its turn on Thursday 1st August, 2019.
Ilorin East and Patigi will holds theirs on Friday while Asa, Moro and Kaiama local governments will screen its SUBEB sunset teachers on Monday next week.
Tuesday will be for Offa, Ifelodun and Oyun while Wednesday, which is the last day will capture six local governments of Irepodun, Baruten, Edu, Ekiti, Isin and Oke-Ero.
According to the circular signed by S.A Abioye, state SUBEB Permanent Secretary, items required include original letter of appointment, original certificate, time book endorsed by their principals or headmasters, letter of posting to schools, bank statement and staff list.
One of the affected workers who spoke on the issue last night, confirmed the development, adding that many of them got the information through their colleagues.
Recall that the state government had said it will embark on screening of workers in the state to detect ghost workers in the system.
A similar exercise was carried out for the state workers.
