In its bid to take the game of Golf to the Grassroots level, Kwara State Golf Association under the chairmanship of Mallam Farouk Ismail is organising a Junior Summer Clinic for kids between the ages of 9 and 11 years at Ilorin Golf Club.
The clinic which will feature playing, aerobics and golf clips will be declared open today by the Director of Sports, Kwara State Sports Council, Mallam Tunde Kazeem.
The Chairman of the Association, Mallam Farouk Ismail, said the clinic will run from 9:00am to 12noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until 30th August, while a colourful Grand Finale and closing ceremony is billed for Saturday 31st of August 2019.
According to the chairman the event is organized free as about 20 participants will be taken through the basics of the game by professional golfers.
