Customers decry faulty Sterling Bank ATM

Customers of Sterling Bank, Muritala Muhammad Way branch, Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday, lamented the frustration experienced in the process of carrying out transactions with the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of the financial institution.
Our reporter observed that the machine instead of dispensing cash seized cards. Some of the people who spoke to this medium said that it is only bank customers who are not familiar with the ATM gallery of the bank that will use that particular point, which they said has notoriety for seizing cards.
When this medium approached one of the bank staff who retrieved an ATM card and came outside to return it to the owner, for comments on the development, she simply said the bank’s headquarters is aware of the fault and has deployed engineers to work on it.
She however, refused to disclose the actual time when the machine will be repaired.
