Police invite Tekno for questioning over half-clad girls saga
Singer Tekno has reportedly been invited by officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in Lagos in connection with his involvement in disrupting public decency in the state.
Recall that the music act released an official statement on his official Instagram page, in which he cleared the air about the transparent truck that was spotted on the island, conveying unclad girls.
The music act had explained that he never intended to deliberately cause public unrest and the situation only came to play because he needed to convey people to the next location for a music video shoot.
In a recent development, the Pana crooner was invited by the police on Tuesday, and is being questioned at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.
According to reports, this was confirmed by the state’s police spokesman, Bala Elkana, who made it known that he was invited for questioning.
Elkana was quoted to have said: “The command has arrested Tekno and the two girls for conveying half naked girls at the Lekki area of Lagos. “He is presently undergoing questioning at the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti.”
It was further gathered that the police submitted that Tekno’s display is against the criminal code and if all parties involved were found guilty, they would be charged to court.
