Cleric urges Nigerians to be patriotic

A Cleric, Pastor Ola-Olu Adeyemo has charged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of patriotism for the development of the country.
He gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 34th anniversary of Rhoda Band of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters, Kwara State.
The cleric stressed the importance of citizens to do things right and be law abiding at all times towards ensuring greatness of the nation.
He, however, called on Christians to play significant role in the spread of the gospel for the grace of God to be meaningful in their life.
Pastor Adeyemo who spoke on the topic “By grace you are saved,” called on believers to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour to fully enjoy His mercy.
Also speaking on the Topic “A good soldier of Christ”, Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road, Ilorin, urged Christians to endure as good soldier of Jesus Christ to live for Him, to fight for Him and if necessary, die for Him.
Pastor Aransiola explained that as a good soldier for Christ, they need certain basic qualifications, which include training, strength, loyalty and endurance.
The Founder of the Believers’ Vineyard Church, Agbo-Oba, llorin, Pastor Akin Obadofin, in his message, urged youths regardless of their background to remain focused and look inwards on ways to ensure the overall development of their communities and the state in general.
According to Pastor Obadofin, “today will determine the future of youths, hence the need for them to shun vices that will do them no good.”
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo in his sermon with the theme “Anointing for divine favour”, urged Christians to always rely on God, who is able to do all things as nothing is impossible with Him.
Prophetess Cecilia lbrahim of the C & S Church, Olorun-Isadi, Gaa-lmam, Ilorin in her message preparatory to her annual 72 hours marathon programme, admonished Christians to look unto God for solutions and way out in whatever they may be facing.
On his part, Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin called on Christians to appreciate God through thanksgiving at all times.
Similarly, Pastor Kayode Omotosho of the C A C Anusogolorimi, Kilanko village, Ilorin enjoined Christians to acknowledge God day by day for His great deed among his creatures, adding that as Almighty He is worthy to be praised.
