The Local Organising Committee of the 20th edition of the Nigerian
Polytechnics Games NIPOGA, NIPOGA, has appointed the Nigeria Pillar of
Sports, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike, as one of the ambassadors for this
year’s edition, to be hosted by Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin.
The appointment was announced by leadership of the committee during a
courtesy visit to the office of Nigeria Pillar of Sports.
The delegation was led Acting Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Yekeen Oyebode.
The competition, will hold, between 4th and 14th of December this year.
In his reaction to the appointment, the Pillar of Sports promised a
sustained partnership between his and the polytechnic, beyond the
forthcoming NIPOGA.
He also promised to do everything within his capacity, both as an
alumnus of the institution and as an ambassador of the 20th edition of
NIPOGA, to promote the Games.
