Bonifazi in talks over new deal

Kevin Bonifazi is close to agreeing a new contract with Torino,
according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The defender has made an excellent start to the campaign and has
already scored two goals in 2019/20.
Bonifazi only joined Torino in the summer and agreed a deal through to
2022, but that could be extended by one or two years.


Messi’s father meets with Inter Miami reps

Lionel Messi’s father has met with representatives from Inter Miami.
The Sun reports that the MLS side’s officials, who are in Europe this
week, have had a meeting with the Barcelona star’s father in an
attempt to lure him to the club.


Dubravka close to contract extension

Martin Dubravka has revealed he is close to agreeing a new deal at
Newcastle United.
“I’m happy here,” the goalkeeper told the ChronicleLive. “Since I came
here, people have treated me really well. I can say that I feel at
home here.
“I’m glad that people think that I can stay here for the longer term.
It’s such a big honour for me.
“Hopefully, we can keep our players in the squad, our leaders, and we
can build on this. We’re in talks. I’m close. That’s what I can say.”


Man Utd eye move for Muriqi

The Express claim Manchester Unitedhad scouts monitoring Kosovo
striker Vedat Muriqi during Tuesday’s game against England.
They are reporting that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering a January
move for the striker given the Red Devil’s lack of attacking options.
Muriqi has impressed this season for Fenerbahce since his summer
transfer to the Turkish club, and has netted twice in his opening
three league games.


Liverpool open up Mane talks

Liverpool have held talks with Sadio Mane over a new contract, claims
the Daily Star.
The winger scored twice in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Newcastle, and
it is believed that the Reds are keen to tie the Senegal star to a new
contract in order to fend off any interest from other clubs.


Abate rejects Qatar offer

Former AC Milan full-back Ignazio Abate has rejected an offer from
Qatari side Al-Gharafa, reports Calcio Mercato.
The 32-year-old left the Italian side this summer, and is reportedly
keen on remaining in Europe rather than making a big-money switch to
Qatar.


Diaz allowed to leave in January

According to Calcio Mercato, Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz will be
allowed to leave the club in January, with AC Milan and Roma
reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old.
One stumbling block will, however, involve his wages, meaning the
striker would have to take a pay cut to make the switch to either
Italian side.


Allardyce to return to management

Sam Allardyce is keen on making a comeback to management, and has his
sights set on a return to Sunderland, reports The Sun.
The former England manager is ready to take on the Black Cats one more
time, and could return to the club after their reported imminent
takeover from American consortium MSD Partners.


Solskjaer sends warning to Rashford and Lingard

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has issued a warning to both Marcus Rashford and
Jesse Lingard, with the Man Utd boss telling the pair to focus on
football instead of fashion.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer has been backed up by number two Mike
Phelan, with the management team concerned that the duo are not fully
concentrated on giving their all to the team this season.


Hudson-Odoi closing in on new deal

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to signing a new contract
with the club, according to The Telegraph.
The 18-year-old looks set to follow in the footsteps of fellow England
youngsters Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who have recently
signed new deals with the Blues.
Hudson-Odoi returned to action on Friday night for Chelsea’s U23s
after spending four months out with a ruptured a chilles.


Milan keeping an eye on Everton Soares

AC Milan are keeping tabs on Brazilian forward Everton Soares, having
missed out on the 23-year-old in the recent summer transfer window.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that the Serie A club are still
interested in signing the Gremio forward, who has previously been
linked with a move to both Arsenal and Napoli.


Udinese set price for Milan target

Udinese have placed a price tag of €35 million (£31.2m/$39m) on AC
Milan target Rodrigo De Paul.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Argentine winger is wanted by Milan,
and is a cheaper option than Atletico forward Angel Correa, who was
close to joining the club in the summer transfer window.


Juventus join race to land Parrott signature

Juventus have joined Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in the race to sign
Tottenham youngster Troy Parrott, according to Calcio Mercato.
The teenage striker has impressed Mauricio Pochettino in training
after coming through the academy, and has also been on fine form on
the international stage, scoring three goals for the Republic of
Ireland U21 side in their two Euro qualifiers last week.
