Rector, Bartholomew College, Shao charges staff, students on rededication

As Year 2020 approaches, the Rector of College of Health Technology,
Shao, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, Dr. Bartholomew
Owoicho, has charged the staff, students and security personnel
attached to the institution to belt up and make the New Year, a
fulfilling one.
Speaking, last week with newsmen, the Rector asserted that the college
is well positioned for better performance with qualified personnel on
its pay roll. He therefore charged all and sundry in the institution
to work hard to uplift the college by contributing their quota.
His words, “The college has made remarkable achievements, in the
outgoing year and am glad that we have remained one united family
throughout the year, as we approach another year, I urge all of you to
continue to do your best in your official and professional calling at
all times,” Owoicho, who doubles as the founder of the college, said.
He observed that the overall achievements in Year 2019 are the bench
mark to which the college shall continue in the coming year in its
determination to provide an enabling environment for teaching,
learning and research work.
The Rector charged the students to shun indolence, laziness, lateness,
cultism and obey constituted authority in order to achieve their
primary aim in the college.
“I will remain stoically committed to see that we provide the platform
for our students to realise their ambitions and will also maintain an
open door policy and high standards, so that our products can compete
favourably with their colleagues anywhere they find themselves,” he
assured.
Owoicho however appreciated parents, employees, students particularly
the host community and the traditional ruler of Shao and its environs,
Alayeluwa Oba Adesina Adegbite and other traditional title holders for
partnering with the college.
“The college under my able leadership will continue to recognise your
contributions towards maintaining peace and harmony in the
institution. I therefore wish all and sundry a merry Christmas and
prosperous New Year,” the Rector added.
