Inter back out of Viviano signing

Inter have backed out of talks to sign goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
The goalkeeper is available on a free agent and the Serie A side considered signing him after Samir Handanovic got injured.
But the Nerazzurri decided to stick with the options they have instead of bringing in another player, his agent said.


Benfica in talks to sign Pedrinho

Benfica are close to signing 21-year-old winger Pedrinho from Corinthians, Record says.
The Portuguese giants have been in talks with the Brazilian club and are offering €20 million (£17m/$22m) for him, while they are close to reaching a personal agreement with the player.


Marseille eye Lyon youngster Bard

Marseille are monitoring Lyon left-back Melvin Bard, according to reports in France.

The Italian publication states that the Frenchman could complete a transfer to San Siro if the Blaugrana sign Nerazzurri front man Lautaro Martinez.
Griezmann has scored nine goals in 29 appearances across all competitions for Barca since joining the club from Atletico Madrid last summer.

Juventus are prepared to offer Gianluigi Buffon a contract extension – according to Tuttosport.
The Italian goalkeeper will sit down with the club to discuss a new one-year deal in March.
Buffon rejoined Juve from Paris Saint Germain last summer, and has since appeared in 11 matches across all competitions for the club.

Manchester United are weighing up a summer approach for Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier – according to the Daily Star.
Spurs could cash in on the England international when the market reopens, given the fact his current contract is due to expire in 2021.
United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a keen admirer of Dier due to his versatility, and the club may submit an offer for the 26-year-old later in the year.


Ajax reach agreement to sign Ziyech replacement

According to Dutch publication AD, Ajax have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian midfielder Antony from Sao Paulo.
The 19-year-old will move to Johan Cruyff Aren A at the end of the season, with a €20 million (£17m/$22m) deal now in place.
Ajax have brought in Antony to replace Hakim Ziyech, who will be joining Premier League giants Chelsea this summer.


Barca, Real Madrid both eyeing Lautaro

 

Barcelona and Real Madrid have both identified Inter striker Lautaro Martinez as a transfer target – according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Blaugrana see the Argentine as the ideal long-term successor for Luis Suarez, but Real are also prepared to meet the €111 million (£92m/$120m) release clause in the 22-year-old’s current contract.
Lautaro has hit 11 goals in 20 Serie A outings for Inter this season.


Willian eager to remain at Chelsea

Willian wants to remain at Chelsea despite Hakim Ziyech’s impending arrival from Ajax – according to the Independent.
The Brazilian’s current contract is due to expire in June, but he wants to commit to a fresh three-year deal.
Willian could lose his regular spot in Chelsea’s line-up when Ziyech joins up with his new team-mates at Stamford Bridge this summer.
