Sanusi scores debut Porto goal in Marseille win

Super Eagles left-back, Zaidu Sanusi scored his first goal for Portuguese club, FC Porto, as they brushed aside French outfit Olympique de Marseille 2-0 away from home to put one foot closer into the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Having been rested for Saturday’s Taca da Portugal win over Fabril Barrio, the 23-year-old started his 4th successive UCL clash for the visitors who were hoping to complete a double having won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Porto.
However, with half time looming, the visitors took the lead from the most unlikely source as Sanusi had to be alert twice before, first pulling a save from the goalkeeper before he then bundled home the rebound to make it 1-0 to Porto.
Sanusi who has made a bright start to life in Portugal was rightly named the man of the match after a fantastic performance at the Orange Velodrome, with the Portuguese side now just needing one point from their last two matches to seal progression to the round of 16.
