Kwara High Court appellate session holds today

 

The second appellate session of the High Court of Justice, Ilorin, Kwara State will hold, on Monday (today).
A statement by the Deputy Chief Registrar (Litigation), Chief Magistrate Nureni Kuranga said, the session will commence at the High Court Ilorin Complex by 9 am.
According to the Deputy Chief Registrar, the session is to be presided over by His Lordship, Hon Justice Hannah Ajayi and supported by Honourable Mahmud Gafar and Honourable Taoheed Umar at the Ilorin Judicial Division.
However, the cases listed for hearing and determination are appeals both Criminal and Civil from District Magistrate and Upper Area Courts respectively.
Recruitment: Nigerian Navy has not released  list of successful candidates – Official
The Nigerian Navy  has said it has not released the list of successful candidates for its 2019 recruitment.
The Naval spokesman, Suleman Dahun, made this known in a statement in Abuja on Sunday.
Dahun said the list of successful candidates would be released to the public through the Navy official website and the media.
He also alerted the public of the existence of a fake list of successful candidates in its 2019 recruitment online.
Dahun, a commodore, advised members of the public to be wary of such fraudulent sites.
“The Nigerian Navy wishes to alert members of the public of the existence online of a fake list of successful candidates in its 2019 recruitment.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Nigerian Navy has not released the list of successful candidates in the 2019 recruitment.
“Therefore, members of the public are advised to steer clear of these fraudulent sites.
“Furthermore, the list of successful candidates will be conveyed to the public through the Nigerian Navy official website and mass media in due course,” he said.
