Muslim charge to imbibe lessons of Eid, intensify prayers for Kwara

As Muslims faithful all over the world celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan fast, they have been charge to imbibe the lesson of the period in whatever they do as demonstrated in the Glorious Quran.
A cross-section of traditional rulers in Kwara state made this known in their messages to the people.
The Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi observed that the period can be meaningful only if the Muslim faithful imbibe the teachings of the preceding Ramadan by their words and actions.
Also in his submission, the Emir of Shonga, Alhaji Ndanusa Haliru Yajaya appealed to Kwarans and Nigerians not to see the period as merry making alone, rather a time to seek Allah’s face to curb wanton destruction of lives and property which is now rampant, adding that where peace doesn’t exist no meaningful development can be achieved.
Similarly, the chairman of Ekiti traditional council and Olosi of Osi, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku 1 cautioned the people of the country against selfish interest rather they should share what they have with the needy in the society to make life more comfortable for them.
Oba Arowobeku added that by so doing, it would enable the government at all levels forge ahead in its shared prosperity to the masses.
In his contribution, the Emir of Ilesha Baruba in Baruten local government of the state, Alh. Halidu Abubakar admonishes Nigerians no matter how highly placed irrespective or religions differences to tolerate one another and eschew any act that can hamper development of the state and country at large.
Other monarchs who spoke on the issue include the Alamayo of Amayo in Ifelodun local government area, Oba lbrahim Jamiu Oyebola, the Asolo of lsolo-Opin, Oba Raphael Sunday Are, Oloreke of Oreke land, Oba Dada Abdulkadir Olukodo II, Oludopo of Okeya-Ipo, Oba Saidi Giwa Oyelekan III and Oloyo-Ipo of Eggi, Oyo-Ipo in Irepodun, Oba Abdulwahab Adeoye Jinad.
They all urged Nigerians to continue to intensify prayers for Allah’s mercy on the current situation bedeviling the nation for way-out.
