Kylian Mbappe is ‘concerned’ over the arrival of Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Messi was officially unveiled by the Ligue 1 giants this week, after his stunning exit from Barcelona as a free agent.
His arrival presents the chance for a mouthwatering attack that includes Mbappe and Neymar.
However, there is already the possibility that the three forwards will only have one year together in Paris.
Mbappe’s deal with PSG expires in June 2022 and he is not close to extending.
Messi’s signing has ‘bothered’ the French superstar, who fears he may be put in the ‘shadow’ of his two illustrious teammates. He is now set to make a decision on his future next week.
Many observers believe he is keen to move to Real Madrid and begin a new chapter of his career.
Mbappe has been at PSG since 2017 after joining on an initial one-year loan deal which turned permanent the following season for a £163m fee.
