Lions Club holds induction ceremony in Ilorin

Royal Lions Club,a social group on Sunday had held her 2nd presentation /induction/ fundraising ceremony in Ilorin the Kwara state capital.


The event which had in attendance Lions club members across the district as well as dignitaries within Kwara was flagged off by the district governor of 404B2, Lion. Alhaji Isiaq Kayode Oshinuga also had in attendance the Immediate Past President Ln.Dr. Temitayo Ogedengbe
Ogedengbe in his remark appreciated the members and guest for coming to grace the occasion, he also talked about the past projects taken up by the club.
Lion Ogendengbe also handed over the mantle of leadership to the new head of the group, Lion. Juliet Halawani who will lead the Royal Lions club in the new administration.
While accepting the new post, Halawani pledged to do more in collaborating with her team and also promised to execute projects that will move the organization forward and impact lives.
She also urged her members to be upright in their activities and make sure they pay up dues regularly and strive to induct quality members that will uphold rules and regulations of the club.
The merry event also featured a fundraising session where guests and Lion club members present donated generously to the course of humanity.
One of the highlights of the event was an auctioning round which was the juicy part of the event as the guests took part in the auction with Joy, donating towards the cause of service to humanity, which is one of mantra of the group.
