College of Health Tech urges staff, students to embrace peaceful coexistence

The Provost of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, Dr. Abdulrauf Aliyu Alabi has charged members of staff and students to do everything possible to enhance peaceful co-existence on campus as well as being proactive on all issues affecting them and the institution.

The Provost said that peaceful coexistence will provide an enabling environment for teaching and learning in order to attain lofty heights in the college curriculum and producing quality professionals in health sector which would boost specialized health sector in the nation.

This was noted in a statement signed by the Provost an made available to National Pilot.

The provost charged members of college staff to live far above board in all expectations by being proactive and should deliver on their mandate of impacting knowledge and discipline to students.

He also urged the non-teaching staffs to continue to be punctual at their duty posts, keep records properly and work hard to keep confidentiality in their trust at all times.

Dr. Alabi assured the staff that the management of the college is committed to provide necessary incentives to make them function in a peaceful decent and secured environment with proactive mindset.

“Under my leadership we shall continue to provide infrastructures on campus to ease our daily activities, our academic staff should be up and doing in their professional callings/postings, we are working hard to expand our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and attending to other sundry issues with dispatch”.he said.

The College administrator appeals to the students to embrace dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving matters of general interest and be God conscious, saying, “Our road map to success is un-negotiable and we are living no stone on turned in achieving big success with the assurance of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as the Visitor to the college”.

Dr. Abdulrauf Aliyu Alabi expressed his gratitude to the management, staff, stakeholders, consultants in various fields to the college also to the Monarch, Olofa in council, students and the entire college community in moving the college in the right direction.

He said. “I am highly impressed of your support, commitment and understanding, I assure you all that I will continue to offer purposeful leadership despite all challenges”.
