The former APC chieftain of Offa,who defected to SDP, Hon. Saheed Popoola have said the Kwara state governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq lack administrative experience.
He noted that, his lack of experience resulted to the instability in the government.
Popoola made this known on radio, in a programme title ifokanbale which was air on Tuesday at harmony FM Idofian,that governor have not held any position before he was given Governorship position.
“Our Governor did not control councilor position before given Governorship. That worsen the situation. Experience is the best teacher.”
Popoola explained that, kwara, according to Debt Management Office is currently on N93bn.
He said, Governor AbdulRazaq need to explain to the member of the public.
“Saraki during his tenor collected 17 bn which he used to created, KWASU, Diagnosis center, Aviation college. KWASU alone has generated more than 17bn collected. By 2015 he has pay all his debt. The past governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed intended to secure loan but the state house of assembly denied him.
“Abdulfatah run his administration with KWIRS.”
He also tasked governor AbdulRasaq not to run the administration as sole administrators.
“Appointment permanent secretary and release results of their exams they have taken.”
Given reason for his defection, Popoola said he left the party because they have destroyed APC.
“When we are forming the party. Governor AbdulRazaq is no where to be found but they gave him the leadership of the party. APC has no feature in kwara state again.
“All the people that work hard for the party were sideline. Governor has turned himself to colonial master and want to colonize everyone. We are not going to allow that.”
According to him, Governor is planning to bring 8 women in to the Kwara state house of assembly to replace male counterpart.
“By 2023, they will know their fate because by that time,the election is going to be between PDP and SDP.
“Kwara will soon congratulate us and free from sole administrators government. PDP and SDP has a common enemy which is APC.”
Meanwhile, the state government through the ministry of communication, has however dispelled Popoola’s allegation of #93billions debt as false, describing legislator as a rumour monger who have started springing up poorly-calculated mischief in a bid to mislead the populace for selfish political gains.
The also advised Popoola to focus on the legislative business for which the people of Ojomu-Balogun constituency elected him, rather than chasing shadow on radio.
