Saraki visits, condoles NURTW in Kwara over state deputy chairman’s death

A delegation from the national leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, visited the Kwara State Secretariat of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Ilorin, to commiserate with the union over the loss of its State Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Abdulsalam Alaburo.
The delegation was led by Alhaji Musa Abdullahi and a former Union leader in the state, Comrade Bisi Fakayode who currently serves as the Chairman of the PDP in Kwara South senatorial district.
Musa Abdullahi said Saraki was saddened and shocked to learn of the passing of Alhaji Alaburo, and had sent them to convey his heartfelt condolences to the late transporter’s family and colleagues.
He prayed Almighty Allah to overlook the shortcomings of the deceased, admit him into Aljana Firdaus and grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear his demise.
“Our leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki was saddened and shocked to receive the news of the death of Alhaji Abdulsalam Alaburo. He would have loved to be here but he’s not around. That is why he has sent us here to convey his heartfelt condolences to the family of Alaburo and his colleagues in the transport union.
“Dr Saraki acknowledges the significant roles transporters play in the society and appreciates them a lot. As we mourn Alhaji Alaburo’s passing, we celebrate his remarkable life and pray that Almighty Allah overlook his shortcomings, admit him into Aljana Firdaus and grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear his demise,” Musa Abdullahi said.
The State Chairman, NURTW in Kwara, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Abdulkareem Ariwoola appreciated Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for the condolence visit and for identifying with the union at this moment of grief. He prayed Allah to reward the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate and the delegation he sent.
“The Union has always shared a very good relationship with Saraki and his political structure in the state. We are grateful and appreciate him for identifying with us always. We pray Allah to reward him abundantly and also grant his heart desires,” Alhaji Ariwoola said.
Other members of the delegation include, Alhaji Ahmed Dembo, Alhaji Abdullahi Oganija, Alhaji Isiaq Danmairomu and the Press Officer on Local Matters to Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir.
