Popular film director Abula sets new milestone with Tiny Desk

Popular Nigerian video director and cinematographer, Abdulaziz Oladimeji, also known as Abula or Abdulazeez Greene, had his first appearance on the scene as a skit maker in 2017.
The film director is an alma mater of Lagos State University, where he studied History and International Relations where he obtained his B.Sc.
While serving in Kwara State, during his compulsory 1-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, Abula began content creation with the character, Sergeant Semiu Macaulay.
Abula was born in Lagos but moved to Abuja, where he spent more years.
He showcases his evolution as a director moving from content creation to becoming a talent manager and still functions in various areas of video productions, including filmmaking.
Speaking with newsmen, Abula said he has set new milestones working with an International and well-recognized platform, Tiny desk on set for Fireboy DML live concert hosted by NPR Music.
Tiny desk is a project of National Public Radio, an American privately and publicly funded non-profit membership media organization, known for presenting public radio music programming and original editorial content for music discovery.
“Well, working with an International platform, as big as Tiny Desk, well-known for discovering musical talent. I feel fulfilled knowing fully well my craft is on the eyes of the international market, which has also opened new doors for me. At this point, I’m setting a new milestone with my works on all level,” he said.
