Saraki lauds Solagberu’s International Appointment, Calls It Well-Deserved

The President, of the 8th Nigeria Senate Dr Bukola Saraki, has extended warm congratulations to Malami Ubandoma, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkadir Jumuah Salman Solagberu, on his recent international appointment.
Sheikh Solagberu, renowned for his dedication to Islamic education and outreach, has earned a prestigious position as a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, based in Doha, Qatar.
In a congratulatory statement released by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Saraki praised Sheikh Solagberu’s scholarly commitment and contributions to Islam. “Your appointment as a Member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars in Doha, Qatar, is a testament to your tireless efforts in promoting the religious and cultural heritage of Ilorin Emirate globally,” Saraki’s statement read.
Saraki, who holds the title of Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin, expressed confidence in Sheikh Solagberu’s future impact within the union, noting that his “resourcefulness and academic prowess” would greatly benefit the Islamic community.
Highlighting Sheikh Solagberu’s role as the proprietor of both Darul Kitab University and Darul Kitab Wa Sunna College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Saraki remarked, “Your exemplary leadership has produced outstanding scholars and inspired positive change in the Muslim community and beyond.” He further commended Solagberu’s “hard work and commitment to Ilorin Emirate, Nigeria, and humanity,” describing his global recognition as truly well-deserved.
