Saraki, Wife Celebrate Son’s Grammy Win, Congratulate Tems on Second Award

Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki and his wife, Toyin, have expressed immense joy and pride after their son, Seni won Grammy Award.

Seni, the CEO of NATIVE Networks, played a key role in the Bob Marley: One Love (Music Inspired by the Film) album, which secured the award for Best Reggae Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.

In addition to celebrating their son’s achievement, the Sarakis also extended their congratulations to Nigerian Afrobeats star Tems, who won her second Grammy in the Best African Music Performance category.

Sharing her excitement on her verified Twitter page, Toyin Saraki wrote, ” What wonderful news to welcome this Monday morning!”

“I am filled with joy as our son, Seni Saraki, CEO of NATIVE Networks @NATIVErecs, and his partners and artists at @IslandRecords Music team and @ParamountPics celebrate the monumental achievement of winning a Grammy Award @RecordingAcad for their work on the @BobMarley: One Love – Music Inspired By the Film album, which has been honoured with the Grammy for Best Reggae Album”

She stated further. “And a huge congratulations to @TemsBaby on her Grammy Award win for Best African Music Performance for ‘Love Me Jeje’!”

She also celebrated Tems, writing, “And a huge congratulations to @TemsBaby on her Grammy Award win for Best African Music Performance for ‘Love Me Jeje’! Well done!”

Also, Sarak, the President of the 8th Senate took to his official Facebook to express his pride and happiness over his son’s Grammy victory.

“Congratulations, Seni, on winning your first Grammy last night for your work on the ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ soundtrack, which took home the award for Best Reggae Album!”

“Seeing you pour your heart into your passion and having it recognized on the global stage is an indescribable joy. Well done! We are super proud of you!,” he wrote.

He also extended his best wishes to Tems, writing, “Huge congratulations to Tems on her Grammy Award win for Best African Music Performance! Well done!”

The Bob Marley: One Love (Music Inspired by the Film) soundtrack clinched the coveted Best Reggae Album title at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

Released in February 2024 by Island Records, the 10-track album features contemporary renditions of Bob Marley’s timeless classics, including Natural Mystic, Exodus, Waiting in Vain, Three Little Birds, One Love, Redemption Song, and Is This Love.

The album triumphed over a strong lineup of nominees, including Evolution by The Wailers, Never Gets Late Here by Shenseea, Take It Easy by Collie Buddz, and Party with Me by Vybz Kartel.

With this win, Seni Saraki’s contributions to the global music industry have been recognized at the highest level, marking a significant milestone in his career.
