Saraki Offers Condolences to Bereaved Families in Ilorin, Attends Tefsir at Emir Palace

Former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, on Saturday paid condolence visits to some bereaved families in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, where he identified with them and assure of his support always.

The Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate also paid homage to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and joined His Royal Highness for the Ramadan Tefsir at his palace.

He felicitated the Emir on the observance of this yearโ€™s Ramadan season and wished him sound health all through the Ramadan period and beyond.

Paying condolence visits, Saraki visited the family of the late Ajikobi of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Isiaka Yusuf, and showered encomium on the late traditional leader. He prayed to Allah for the repose of his soul and strength for the family to bear the loss.

He also visited the royal family of late ACP Abdul Sulu-Gambari where he eulogized his good virtues as a respected prince and diligent police officer. The Waziri charged the family to take solace in the good life he lived while he was alive.

The former Senate President was also received by the Mukadam Agba of Ilorin Emirate, Sheikh Sulyman Dan-Borno who recently lost his wife, Hajia Hajara.

Sheikh Dan-Bono expressed his appreciation for the visit and prayed to Allah to continue to grant Saraki divine protection and guidance in all his endeavours.

The Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also paid warm visit to former PDP State woman leader, Alhaja Ramat Oganija, who is recuperating from ill health. Saraki wished the ex woman leader a rapid recovery.

Also playing host to the PDP leader was the family of an associate, Engr Kola Ibrahim, who recently held the wedding of his son, Abdulmalik Tope Ibrahim.

Saraki congratulated the family on the success of the occasion and prayed Allah to grant the new couples a blissful home.
