Former Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has congratulated Kwara-born Nollywood star Femi Adebayo on his recent win at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), describing the achievement as a “proud moment for Kwarans everywhere.”

Adebayo clinched the prestigious Best Lead Actor award for his acclaimed role in Seven Doors, a performance Saraki called “remarkable” and “well-earned.”

In a post made on his social media platforms, Saraki praised Adebayo’s dedication to his craft, noting that the award is more than personal recognition — it is a symbol of what’s possible when “talent meets opportunity.”

“I just read the news that Femi Adebayo won the AMVCA Best Lead Actor award for his remarkable performance in Seven Doors. This is a well-earned recognition and a proud moment for Kwarans everywhere. But more than that, it is a reminder of what’s possible when talent meets opportunity.

“May this achievement open even greater stages, and inspire a new generation of young Kwarans to dream big, work hard, and tell their own stories to the country, the continent and the world,” he wrote.
