Advancement training for Kwara youths begins, tomorrow

 

The Employability Advancement Solution for Youths (EASY) will commence tomorrow (Tuesday) with 250 fresh graduates between the ages of 21 and 30 years expected to benefit from the programme sponsored by the Kwara State Government in collaboration with Resource Intermediaries Limited.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths Empowerment, Alhaji Zakariyyau Babatunde.
It urged all successful applicants who had been contacted directly to attend the programme at Kwara State Education Resource Centre, University of Ilorin Road, Tanke, Ilorin.
Participants are to come to the venue with their certificates as registration will commence 8.00am while the flag- off will take place 9.00am prompt.
It explained that EASY is a finishing school programme aimed at improving the employability of youths, preparing them for career decisions and progress in life just as it also exposes them to vital entrepreneurial skills and opportunities after their formal education.
The statement noted some of the courses slated for the training include: Attitude and Character for Career Development, Mastering the Arts of Interview, Problem solving and lots more, while Successful participants would qualify for preference in job openings, with the training acquired.
