Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has charged financial institutions to be innovative in creating values for the people.
He also advised banks to explore opportunities in various lending windows to the people.
The Governor gave the advice yesterday at the Government House, Ilorin when he received the Managing Director of First City Monumental Bank (FCMB), Adam Nuhu.
Governor Ahmed who admitted that financial institutions in the country are facing challenges advised them to be innovative in all their dealings, pointing out that banking system is dynamic.
He urged financial institutions to key into the state’s machineries for empowerment of the people.
Earlier, Nuhu disclosed that the bank has assisted entrepreneurs in the state to improve their businesses.
