Kwara monarch warns against disunity 

 

The Aala of Ilala, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Adeyemi Osuolale Oyebanire has warned sons and daughters of the community against utterances that can cause disunity in the town.
The monarch in a statement issued on Tuesday debunked the reported claim by the Chairman Lagos State Branch of Ilala Community Association; Alhaji Jimoh Ayanda that Ilala has no historical background.
The Aala of Ilala added that such act was baseless and an utterance that must be disregarded in order not to create disunity and enmity among the people of the community and the state in general.
The monarch however urged media outfits both within and outside the state to disregard any information from any group or individual concerning Ilala town without his due approval or his chiefs to avoid disrupting the long existing peace in the community.
He re-assured Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of the unalloyed support of the people of Ilala community in order to further facilitate more shared prosperity agenda of the state government to the populace.
Oba Oyebanire implored the people of the state to shun inimical act that could truncate the programmes of Kwara, rather they should collaborate with the government on its policies and programmes.
