Explore talents for service of God, Christians urged

Christians have again been charged to play active part and use their talents in the propagation of the gospel.
A Cleric, Pastor Ola-Olu Adeyemo gave the charge today in his sermon delivered at the 31st service of songs of the combined Choir of C & S Unification Church of Nigeria Kwara State Chapter held at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Pastor Adeyemo who spoke on the theme “Live on the lion of Judah” called on Christians to desist from sin and move closer to God.
The Cleric appealed to them to be role models and lay good examples for others to emulate.
Also speaking on the topic “Find time to train your Children”, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA Ita Elepa, Ilorin urged parents to create time to take proper care of their children.
Reverend Adedoyin noted that Children are the heritage of the Lord imploring parents to train them in the way of the Lord God Almighty.
The Cleric  stated that children also represent the future of a family, community and the nation, urging parents and the government to play their part to ensure proper discipline of the children to guarantee the future of the country.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin who spoke on the topic “Pride” called on people to shun arrogance, as it is the way of the devil that leads to destruction.
Pastor Aransiola charged them to be humble  adding that God gives grace to the humble.
The Minister in charge of the  Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace Congregation Obbo Road Ilorin, Reverend Kelechi Odii in his message “The Real Signs Is In the Gospel” also called on Christians to make the gospel centre point of their dealings and worship God wholeheartedly to receive salvation and solutions to all challenges.
Primate Martins Olobatoke of the Resolution Church of Christ National Headquarters off Coca Cola road, Ilorin appealed to Nigerians to bury their differences no matter their religion background to ensure friendly environment that would promote peace.
Speaking at the on-going mid year annual Revival with the theme “l will not let you go unless you bless me”, Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church, lpetu-lgbomina emphasised the need for Chrstians to do away with what will not allow Jesus Christ to reign in their life.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo called on Chrstians to fear God in whatever they do and be their brothers’ keeper as preached by the Holy book.
