Kwara United were last Friday sent out of the 2019 Governor Dapo Abiodun preseason championship despite playing 4-4 draw against Gateway in their last Group game.
It was a feisty encounter in Ijebu Ode as the two teams displayed the stuff they are made of resulting in aย  8-goal thriller.
Harmony Boys needed a win in this encounter so as to qualify for the semifinal of the championship, but Gateway FC proved hard nut for them to crack.
Gateway took the lead in this encounter before Ebenezer provided a superb pass for Christopher Lolo to restore parity.
The Abeokuta Boys took the lead again before the end of the first half via a powerful free kick which rendered goalkeeper Fabiyi helpless.
Abdulsallam netted a brace plus a late goal from Yobo for Kwara United which saved the Harmony Boys from defeat.
