Kwara United on Wednesday book the final ticket at the ongoing Gold Cup Pre-season tournament holding in Ekiti State.
The team handled by Coach Abubakar Bala, defeated the hard fighting Synosure FC 4-2 on penalties after 1-1 draw at the regular 90th minute.
A beautiful header from Ebenezer Odeyemi had given the Harmony Boys the lead in 60 minutes before Synosure FC levelled up in the 75 minutes, via spot kick.
Kwara United would either play Remo Stars or Sunshine Stars in the final match this week.
The team resumed early to close camp in Abuja, with a number of friendly matches and thereafter proceeded to Lagos where they engaged MFM in friendly match.
They however see the Gold Cup pre-season tournament as a big opportunity to build a better team ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL) new season.
