Rivers Angels have emerged winners of the 2017 Women’s Aiteo Cup following their 3-0 penalty shootout win against Ibom Angels at the Rwang Pan Stadium on Wednesday.
After a goalless half, Cynthia Aku scored a superb goal assisted by Chioma Wogu to put Rivers ahead before Gloria Ogbonna equalised for Ibom Angel.
