A fire outbreak at the chamber of renowned legal practitioner, Barrister Yusuf Ali, along Unity Road in Ilorin on Wednesday morning caused a brief scare but was swiftly contained.
When National Pilot visited the premises around 11:03 a.m., staff members were seen working as usual, suggesting that the situation had been swiftly contained with no significant impact on operations.
A staff member, who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed the incident, but dismissed any major concerns, saying :โYes, it happened, but it was minor. No life was lost. As you can see, we are all fine and working smoothly. We thank God.โ
However, when pressed for more details and access to the affected area, the staff declined, leaving the exact cause and extent of the damage unclear.
