Kwara Deputy Gov tasks APC members on loyalty

The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi has charged
members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to be loyal to the
party and the government of Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq to succeed
in office.
Alabi gave the charge, Wednesday, while receiving executive and
members of the party from Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State
in Kwara South.
Alabi is also an indigene of Ifelodun.
The Deputy Governor called on the new executives to extend hand of
love and friendship to other members to build a strong and united
party.
He urged them to support Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq who is the
leader of the party in the State to achieve the required success.
He further assured that the present administration would not relent in
its desire to improve the State and make life better for the people.
The Local Government chairman of the party, Hon Abdullateef Quadir
pledged their support for the party and the present administration.
Hon Quadir explained that the party would run an open door policy
which would be all inclusive.

Some notable leaders of the Kwara State Chapter of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) have sought for divine intervention for
the success of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration in
the state.
The party leaders who converged on Isin Local Government Area weekend
during a Special Prayer for the Governor to succeed in his efforts to
bring needed growth and development to Kwara State called on the
people irrespective of tribe, religion and party affiliation to
support the present administration to improve the abundant human and
natural resources the almighty God in His wisdom deposited in the
state.
The event was organised by the Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Progressives
Group (AAPG), Isin LGA chapter, Kwara South.
Guest speakers at the occasion noted the steady and focused approached
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has brought to the art of Governance
in the state and how he has been able to demystify the office and cut
costs which has freed scarce funds for other critical projects and
policies of the state.
Speaking during the programme, former factional chairman of PDP in the
state, Prince Sunday Fagbemi said the Governor, with God on his side,
will not disappoint the people of the state adding that the prayer
became necessary based on their conviction that Governor Abdulrahman
Abdulrazaq if given the needed support, would excel and chart a way
forward for Kwara and put the state in the global map.
The Chief Imam of Iwo, Alhaji Abdulfatai Abdulsalam who also doubles
as the chairman of Council of Imams in Isin LGA and Rev. J.S. Abejide
both prayed for the continued peace being witnessed in the state under
the Governor.
Party leaders who also attended the event include Chief J. B Ayeni,
Barr. Kunle Suleiman, Chief Peter Fadeyi, Dr Shehu Ibrahim, Hon Lere
Oyinloye, Hon Segun Awogbade and Bar. Kayode Towoju.
The roll call of dignitaries also included two commissioner-designate,
Mrs Funke Oyedun and Dr Raji Rasak, Peter Daramola, Alhajai Kareem
Afolayan Epsalum, Mallam Saka Salaudeen, Segun Adewara, Elder, J O
Abogunrin, Otunba Taiwo Joseph (OTJ), Chief Lere Balogun, Barr. Modupe
Adeyemo, Mrs Opeyemi Ibikunle
Others were Mrs Abibat Abioye, Elder Tayo Adebayo, Apostle Yinka
Adeoti, Mr Timothy Adewuyi Deaconess Bolarinwa Temilade, Chief Imam,
Oke-Onigbin, Alhaji Jamiu AbdulSalam, Rev. Abel Adebayo, Chief Sunday
Adeoti, Rev. Olaolu Adebayo and others.
In his remarks, a member of the Ad-Hoc committee, Media and Publicity,
AAPG,   Alhaji Rafiu Ogunlade noted that Governor Abdulrahman
Abdulrazaq since his inauguration has strived to provide better lives
not just for the few but Kwara as a whole and called on the people to
continue their support for the government.
