Hope Games for Disable receive boost

All is now set for the special edition of this year annual Hope Games for disabled in Kwara State.

The 35th anniversary edition will hold from the 16th to 17th of November at the Kwara state school for the special needs along Jebba road opposite Kwara state Television Apata Yakuba, Ilorin.
According to the media consultant for the Hope Games Bayour Issah, activities lined up for this year include a football match on Thursday between Kwara state school for the special needs and Government Secondary School Olokuta beginning from 4pm.
On Friday by 10am at the school hall for the special needs there will be a Fund raising for the construction of Hostel for the intellectually challenged and Matron Quarters while the grand finale is the athletics competition among the houses and award of prizes and medals.
The statement added that Dignitaries invited to grace the colourful ceremony include Dr Ali Ahmad, speaker Kwara State House of Assembly, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali (SAN), Alhaji Ibrahim Bawa Chairman NBA, Ogun State, Mallam Moddibo Ishaq Kawu Director-General NBC.
Others include Alhaji Zakari Muhammed of the House of Representatives, Prof Ishaq Oloyede Registrar JAMB and Prophet (Dr) Elisha Adebiyi Fabiyi and Dr (Mrs) Saodat Baki Head of Dept of Mass Communication University of Ilorin.
