Music star, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, is one singer who loves to show his support for family time and again.
The singer made sure to go to great lengths to campaign for his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who ran for the position of governor in Osun state in 2018.
Interestingly Adeleke lost the election to All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Gboyega Oyetola and the issue was taken to court.
The election tribunal has now declared Adeleke the governor of Osun.
This change of fortune is no doubt good news for Davido and his family and the singer has wasted no time in celebrating.
The DMW boss took to his social media pages to share a photo of himself dancing with his uncle as he explained that light has come for the people of Osun in his caption.ย ย He wrote: “IMOLE TI DE !!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GREAT PEOPLE OF OSUN STATE!”ย ย In a subsequent post, Davido posted a photo of himself with his uncle where it appeared like he was pointing out something to him. In his caption, the singer explained that he was pointing out the Government House to his uncle. He wrote: “His Excellency: David which way to the Government House ? David: Dat way !!!! I introduce to you His Excellency, Gov Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke the governor of Osun State!โ
