The Seventh year remembrance prayer in honour of Alhaji Sulyman Okandeji Akanbi Oriokoh will come on December 14, 2017.
The event will take place at the deceased’s residence, Ogele compound, Ilorin , the Kwara State capital.
The programme will be in two segments with the first scheduled for 10 am while the sermon billed for 4pm will be led by Imam Maraba.
The Are of Ogele in Asa Local Government, Alhajiย Abubakar Ishola is the Father of the Day and Chief Host of the event.
The late Akanbi is survived by his wife, Alhaja Falilat Abeje Akanbi, children and grandchildren among whom are the wife of a former Chief of Defense Staff, Hajia Aminat Modupe Ibrahim, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, Hajia Binta Ismaheel, Hajia Ramatu Akinkumi, Hajia Mariam Kabir Kano, Hajia Atu Mohammed Erubu and Hajia Ayobolaย Abdulsalam Abojumeji.
Late Alhaji Akanbi died December 14, 2010 aged 89.
