There’s power in thanksgiving, says Winners’ pastor

 

Christians have been advised to imbibe the spirit of giving thanks to God in all their endeavours and at all times.
A Cleric, Pastor Seyi Adekunle gave the advice in his sermon titled “Understanding the power of thanksgiving” delivered at the Living Faith Church aka Winners chapel, Offa Garage Ilorin.
He noted that for our thanksgiving to be accepted by God, it must be done without delay, cheerfully and righteously for Him to perfect their blessings.
Meanwhile, Christians have again been charged to worship God wholeheartedly to receive abundant blessing.
A Cleric, Evangelist Tosin Agboola gave the charge today in his sermon delivered at the seven lessons carol of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
Evangelist Agboola who spoke on the theme “the gift of righteousness” urged them to move closer to God for the salvation of their souls.
Speaking on the theme “Enlargement” Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA, Shao noted that God’s intentions for all is to experience growth, increase and development as stagnation was never in God’s agenda for anyone.
Reverend Agboluaje called on Christians to pray always for peace to reign in the Country.
Also in his sermon, Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin who spoke on the topic “the years of your pilgrimage” explained that ‎all human beings are on Pilgrimage on this planet.
Pastor Aransiola implored Christians to be focus on their assignment, seek to please their creator and ‎be prepared for their heavenly home.
Pastor Kayode Omotosho of C. A. C, Anusogo lorimi, Kilanko village, Ilorin, emphasised the need for Christians to love their neighbours.
Speaking at this year`s annual harvest and thanksgiving service, the founder of the Royal Family Tarbanacle of Praise C & S Church, Ita-Elepa, Prophetess Monisola Olayemi called on Christians to always appreciate God to receive more from Him.
Pastor Idowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi appealed to well meaning Nigerians to assist the needy in the Society as preached by the Bible.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo urged Christians to let Jesus Christ reflect in their way and imbibe the word of God as their watchword.
